Crayon Roll-up

{The Roseland Family}

Remember how I was going to make a tutorial to explain how I made the crayon roll for my friend’s daughter’s 2nd birthday? I’m sure you’ve been on the edge of your seat about that!

Well the bad news is, I didn’t make the tutorial yet. But the good news is, I don’t have to!

Please go check out Jenni @ Roseland Family! She has posted a great tutorial that is pretty much the same way I do it – only a little better.

So thank you Jenni for the great tutorial and for the tips on how to make my crayon roll-ups even better!

*Please note: The photo used is from Jenni’s tutorial. This is her design and her finished project.

About anestinthemaking

Hi! I'm Kristi! I'm a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend. I'm a newbie to sewing and blogging, but I'm excited to get started! Sewing is the first hobby I've really had in a long time. In high school, I sang, I played the piano, I played in the band, I wrote in journals. I went off to college, got married, started a family, and lived a life without hobbies. How boring?! Then I started reading blogs. One thing led to another and soon I was at my co-worker's house borrowing her sewing machine! I haven't looked back since! Sewing is a release for me. It's so much fun to create beautiful and useful things. It's fun to be learning something new, and it's fun to share it with you! So welcome! Take a look around, and let me know you're here! I love to meet people and respond to every message I get! And I can't wait to meet you!

  1. awe, thanks kristie, for your sweet words! glad i could help you out with your tutorial {unknowingly?!?}!

    those crayon rolls make such a great gift and are pretty easy to whip up!

    • They’re so great too! Just so practical! I love that my son can carry around his own crayons and you don’t have to worry about the box breaking, or the pencil box opening, or anything like that!

      Thanks for stopping by!
